We hope you all had a wonderful Christmas.
A very big welcome to all children and parents joining Little Chums this term. We are starting the Spring term with “Colours” We will be learning all about the different colours and how we use and eat colour. We will sing, The Sun Has Got his Hat On & Ten Green bottles. Please look at the notice board to see what else we will be learning .
Home Activities:
You can help your child’s learning by doing things together at home.
Look at books about colour.
Practice the songs we are singing in school
Talk about what they see on the way to and from school , the colour of the leaves, talk about how we use colour “Red is for Danger”
Forest School
Children need waterproof coveralls, hat, gloves,, spare clothes and a piece of fruit at every session
Clothing
Please make sure your child has appropriate clothing for the weather, also that they have spare clothes in their bag in case they need to change. Please name all clothing.
We recommend Pre-school Polo tops and sweatshirts this helps the children feel part of the group.

We would really appreciate your feedback good or bad! We want to make your child’s experience at Pre school a positive one and welcome all suggestions to help us improve.

Parents Consultations
We will be inviting parents to meet with Key workers to discuss and agree targets for your child and to share your child’s learning journey with you. Please book appointments via the list on the notice board.
You can ask to see your child’s Learning Journey at anytime.
